Policeman murders wife, mother-in-law in Lahore

LAHORE: A policeman killed his wife and mother-in-law in Ghari Shahu area over unknown reasons, ARY News reported.

According to details, a cop named Altaf targeted both the women including his wife at his in-laws home. The police officer was carrying his official rifle when he reached his in-laws residence and opened fire on wife, Faiza, and mother-in-law, Safia. Later he fled from the scene.

The culprit had married two months ago. He was in police uniform at the time he killed the two women. The culprit belonged to Lala Musa while his wife hailed from Gujrat.

Brother of the deceased girl said his sister had no domestic dispute with her husband. The culprit was drunk at the time of incident, he claimed.
