ISLAMABAD: A meeting of federal cabinet has been underway with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in chair, ARY News reported on Friday.
The cabinet considering over a seven-point agenda including talks with Taliban militants, sources said.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif likely to take the ministers into confidence over the decisions made in yesterday's meeting of the Cabinet Committee on National Security.
The prime minister will also briefed the cabinet about his recent meeting with former president Asif Ali Zardari.
According to sources, the cabinet will also discuss the overall security situation of the country.
