CHITTAGONG: World T20, Super-10 stage of Group One match between England and New Zealand in Chittagong was stopped due to rain – ARY News reports.
New Zealand while chasing the target of 173 runs, was at 52-1 in 5.2 overs and was then that the rain started at the Zahoor Ahmed Chaudhry Stadium.
New Zealand had to score 49 runs after six overs and 43 runs in 5.2 overs in order to win the match, according to the Duckworth-Lewis formula.
In case of no resumption of play, New Zealand is going to win under the D-L formula, as they were ahead of the required score in 5.2 overs.
