Imran regrets SC verdict on petition against NAB Chairman

ISLAMABAD: Chief of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan has expressed his grief over the decision of the Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan on a petition filed against the Chairman of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and referred to the appointment of the present Chairman NAB as a unique example of Government-PPP deal – ARY News reports.

In a statement issued on Friday, Imran Khan said that due to a deal, PPP lawyer advocated the Government at the court. He said that the democracy in the state, is heading forth under the shadow of corruption, favoritism and different deals, whereas the people are shouting for accountability and sincere leadership.

Khan alleged that PMLN and PPP have joined hands with each other to get rid of corruption cases and Qamar Zaman Chaudhry has been charged with the responsibility to end all these.

The PTI Chief further stated that the NAB prosecutor taking care of the interests of influential people, was appointed by the former government.
