Ziarat: Quaid’s residency restored to its original state

Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s residency located in Ziarat was destroyed in a terrorism incident on June 15, last year, after which authorities had decided for its reconstruction and repair works.

The residency was restored to its original state in a short span of four months, with a cost of Rs 15 crore.

With the accomplishment of this historical and significant building, the colors of Ziarat city are also returning.

For restoring the Quaid-e-Azam Residency to its original form, different kinds of stones and wood were used.

The residency will soon be inaugurated by the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, after which it will be opened to the general public.

It is being expected that a record number of tourists will be visiting Ziarat, after the restoration of Quaid’s residency and its inauguration.
