Earlier, he met Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi.
They discussed matters of mutual interest including regional security, and defence and military collaborations between the two countries.
The Turkish minister appreciated the achievements gained in the Operation Zarb-e-Azab and the efforts made for peace and stability in the region.
Later, Mr. Isik called on President Mamnoon Hussain at the President House where they discussed maters of mutual affairs between the two nations.
Hussain said that both Pakistan and Turkey enjoy fraternal bonds rooted in shared history, religion and culture of both countries.
He said that Pakistan is committed to peace and stability in Afghanistan, and appreciated Turkey’s participation in the Afghan peace process.
The President hoped that they would increase cooperation in the defence field and both countries would benefit from each other’s expertise.
