The meeting also attended by Army Chief General Raheel Sharif and other top military and civilian officials discussed the progress made in the implementation of National Action Plan (NAP) against terrorism.

Pakistan’s top leadership had approved the action plan to counter terrorism in the country after a terrorist attack on Army Public School in Peshawar on December 16, last year. The attack claimed around 150 lives, most of them school children.

The meeting was attended by Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif and other high-ranking civil and military officials.
