The ban on pillion riding, started at midnight, will last till 29th January.
The provincial government suddenly issued the notification of the ban on pillion riding and stated the ongoing polio campaign as the reason.
It should be noted that a police officer was killed when unknown persons opened fire at a polio vaccination team during the immunization drive on Monday.
The citizens have expressed their dismay over the ban and stated that they are facing problems.
