Khan terms US State Dept. statement as interference in Pakistan politics

TOP NEWS

Imran Khan while addressing the marchers in the Red Zone of Pakistan said that the ones who supported Nawaz Sharif in the elections have now come to rescue him. He strongly criticized the United States (US) State Department over its statement in support of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

He referred to it as interference in Pakistan’s internal politics and said the PM Nawaz wants to protect his unconstitutional, non-democratic government by hiding behind police, military and the United States (US).

The PTI chief inquired the US State Department about the dual standards for the under developed and developed states. He said in America if an instant comes that a mere total of 500 votes cannot be verified, there the elections are held again, yet it is Pakistan where the US is ready to accept the elections with worst rigging.

Imran Khan said the government has replaced the IG Islamabad, who was not in favor of oppressing the people and appointed Khalid Khattak in place of him. He asked the new IG Islamabad to listen to the voice of his conscience and not to execute unjust and illegal orders of the current rulers.

Khan said, “The participants of Azadi March are quite peaceful, any kind of oppression on them will not be tolerated at all for it is the democratic right of our people to record their protest and if the Gullu Butts of PMLN maltreated the marchers, I will take my army to the PM House”.

He claimed, “Police may also attack the workers of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) and I have conveyed a message to Dr Tahir ul Qadri that if it happens we shall jointly fight back this tyranny”.
