Addressing the participants of the Inqilabi March in Khayaban e Suharwardi here, Dr Tahirul Qadri said, “We are peaceful people, our agenda is peace in the state”. He requested the shopkeepers to open their shops and provide edibles to the people and guaranteed them they will not suffer any losses and if they suffered, he will himself pay them.

Elaborating his 10 point agenda for a revolution in the state, the PAT chief stated his first point demanding a resignation from the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and the Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, for the massacre of innocent people in Model Town on June 17.

He said as the court has ordered for the registration of a case against 21 people including PM Nawaz and Shahbaz, now the concerned police station and its SHO should comply with the orders, or to be prepared for their fate.

Dr Qadri further demanded the dissolution of all the national and provincial assemblies, for there is no moral justification of these. He said a national government will be formed with a revolutionary and reformatory agenda for state.

“After the formation of a new government, strict and ruthless accountability of all the statesmen, bureaucrats, officials and employees will be held and that nobody shall be spared” said the PAT chief.

He added that a socio-economic package will be implemented in the country in order to take out the people from poverty and suffering, under which homeless will be given homes, interest-free loans will be given for a period of 25 years to the middle-class, everyone will be provided basic facilities like food and clothing, state insurance for providing health and medical facilities to the poor and helpless people, employment opportunities for jobless and education for all.

Dr Tahirul Qadri in his address, said that minorities will be given equal rights here and vowed to punish those victimizing the people belonging to any minority.

Speaking about General (R) Pervez Musharraf, the PAT chief said the current rulers tried him under high treason for abolishing the constitution of Pakistan, but themselves discontinued 30 different articles (article 9-38) of the constitution, which provide basic human rights to the people.

He said if Musharraf is to be punished for suspending the constitution, then these rulers should also be held accountable for suspending these articles of the constitution, for years and years.
