According to details, Munawar Bibi, a thirteen-year old girl who was the daughter of Ahmad Ali, was kidnapped by an influential landlord named Arshad and his three accomplices. A resident of Chak number 468 from the Thana Rajoa area, Munawar Bibi was taken to the nearby fields where she was allegedly gang-raped at gunpoint.
On being gang-raped, Munawar Bibi started screaming due to which the landlord doused her with oil and set her on fire. Upon seeing her burning, locals reached the place and shifted her to a nearby hospital for treatment.
According to surgeon Muhammad Ali at the District Headquarter Hospital, thirty-percent of the girl’s body had been burnt.
Thana Rajoa police disclosed that police had started conducting raids for the arrest of the accused persons and a case had been registered against the alleged rapists.
